Nanophotonics is one of crucial technologies for realizing sustainability of our life and the earth in the 21st century. The Research Institute of Nanophotonics (RINPS), a Non Profit Organization, is founded in order to make nanophotonics correctly, publicly recognized, and successfully and appropriately utilized in our peaceful society. The mission of RINPS includes promoting the cutting-edge basic research for nanophotonics, providing the initial technological seeds to the corporate companies for their practical industrialization, and human resource development of researchers and developers of the corporate associates in the area of nanophotonics.
